Nail art is a creative way to paint, decorate and enhance your nails. Nail art is a type of art that can be done on your finger and toe nails, usually after manicure and pedicure. To do nail art you don’t need to visit salons, you can easily do it at home with some little practice.
Nail art is a way to create an entirely new identity and fashion using different colors, shapes and designs. It is not important to draw the nail art design on all the five fingers, you can create it on two or three fingers and it will still look pretty, different and elegant. Tips and Tricks:
- Scotch tape.
Scotch tape is your nail art friend. You can draw perfect straight lines and amazing designs without the help of a nail art brush. Many girls want to make zig zag or stripes design but cannot do so because of shaky hands, but you don’t need to worry about shaky hands now because you got scotch tape!
- Petroleum jelly or white craft glue.
If you are working on a nail art design that is messy, use cotton to rub some petroleum jelly on the skin around your nails. When you are done with your design wipe off the petroleum jelly and any excessive nail polish with it.
You can also use white craft glue. Apply it around your nails and let it dry, then paint the design of your choice. When your design is done simply peel of the dried white glue and all the nail polish mistakes with it.
- Splattered nails.
There are many designs and patterns that you can paint on your nails, but if you want to give your nails an abstract art look you can easily get it by using a straw.First you need to cut the straw in half, then dip the bottom of the brush in nail polish and simply blow it onto your nails.
- White nail polish as a base coat.
Unless your polish is super vibrant or opaque, the natural tint of your nails will change the color of your polish. If you want the true color of the nail polish, simply apply white polish as a base coat and you will get the desired results.
- Custom nail shade.
Sometimes you cannot find a nail polish shade of your choice, but you can easily make a custom nail polish at home. Just pour a little bit of eyeshadow powder on a spoon and then add clear polish to it. Mix it all together nicely, grab a brush and apply the newly made nail polish to your nails.
- Make your nail polish dry faster by soaking your nails in ice water.
If you are in a hurry and want to dry your nail polish quickly, just soak your nails in cold water it will help your nails dry faster.
- Clogged nail polish
If you nail polish gets old it often gets thick or clogged. It is difficult to apply thick nail polish. Just add a few drops of nail polish remover in your nail enamel bottle, rub the bottle and get free of the dense polish.
